Job Description
Job Title: Locum Physician - Hospitalist - Oncology
Join a dedicated team at a prominent Cancer Care Center located in beautiful Boise Idaho. We are on the lookout for a locum Hospitalist specializing in Oncology to provide exceptional care for our inpatient oncology and hematology patients. The practice setting includes inpatient rounding admission and consultation with a supportive environment and access to outpatient oncologists for any questions or assistance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inpatient rounding admitting and consulting for both oncology and hematology patients.
- Provide ongoing care and treatment for inpatient oncology unit patients.
- Coordinate with support staff as needed and document patient care using the EPIC EMR system.
- Participate in weekend coverage every other week with a low chance of call shifts.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Medical Oncology/Hematology is REQUIRED.
- Idaho medical license is REQUIRED.
- Current DEA BLS and CSR certifications are REQUIRED.
- Clean background and malpractice history is REQUIRED.
- Availability for credentialing and local residency is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
- Must have COVID vaccine to work at this facility.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Idaho Medical License (ID).
- Board Certification (required).
- Controlled Substance Registration (CSR/CDS).
- DEA Registration.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
