Pinterest is on a mission to improve the comprehensiveness and shoppability of ads on our platform. Were accomplishing this by expanding our advertising demand sources through partnerships with third-party ad platforms and working closely with Agencies and media companies who manage performance marketing budgets.
As a Director North America (NA) Programmatic Sales you will be instrumental in shaping the sales strategy for our programmatic ad products. This includes building and leading a team focused on increasing adoption and achieving sustained revenue growth. You will collaborate closely with product marketing and product leadership to implement sales strategies gather customer feedback and influence our product roadmap to ensure future investment in our solutions.
What youll do:
- Build and deepen relationships with client executives programmatic partners and regional leaders to champion Pinterests programmatic value.
- Lead mentor and develop a high-performing diverse sales team focused on programmatic and AdTech solutions.
- Design and execute sales strategies plans and programs to drive programmatic 3P demand and AdTech adoption across key markets.
- Serve as a thought leader representing Pinterest at industry events and in executive-level client meetings globally.
- Develop and apply deep knowledge of the programmatic advertising ecosystem including demand-side platform (DSPs) server-side platform (SSPs) auction mechanics and deal types to inform go-to-market strategy and deliver scalable client solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales Operations Product Measurement Agency Creative Media Strategy Product and Engineering) to create integrated full-funnel programmatic marketing solutions and best practices.
- Analyze key performance indicators track delivery and client success and evolve sales playbooks to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Create scalable solutions by working with internal partners to prioritize product needs share insights and drive client adoption of new offerings.
What were looking for:
- 15 years of experience in digital media and ad tech including 7 years leading high-performing teams in large-scale management roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in sales management within online advertising programmatic ecosystems and ad tech.
- Deep knowledge of industry trends market dynamics and the full ad tech landscape (DSPs SSPs auction mechanics deal structures).
- Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive programmatic and AdTech growth and revenue.
- Strong understanding of data and measurement solutions including Clean Rooms.
- Experienced in building efficient workflows and scalable processes to improve team and client success.
- Exceptional collaborator and communicator able to inspire teams align stakeholders and influence decisions in fast-paced matrixed environments.
- Successful history of managing C-level partnerships leading high-impact initiatives and adapting to global evolving business needs.
- Passionate about Pinterests mission committed to innovation delivering client value and acting as a trusted advisor.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as digital media or SaaS sales or equivalent professional experience.
