Job Description
Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity in Gallipolis Ohio
Join a dynamic team in Gallipolis Ohio as we seek a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician or an experienced Family/Internal Medicine Physician with Emergency Medicine experience. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical services to patients in a busy emergency department.
- Participate in a physician-led organization focused on quality patient care.
- Manage an annual emergency department volume of approximately 21000 visits.
- Work in a 20-bed emergency department with a mix of day/night shifts.
- Utilize Paragon EMR for efficient patient documentation and tracking.
- Collaborate with an on-site administrative support team.
- Maintain residency within the local area; relocation may be required.
- Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and standards of care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience.
- A minimum of 12 months/2000 hours of experience in Emergency Medicine (excluding training).
- Active Ohio medical license (in hand or in process).
- Documentation of procedures performed and competency in emergency medical techniques.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status.
- Clean malpractice history and active medical licensing.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.
- Valid Ohio medical license (must be obtained prior to start).
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status.
- DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start).
