The Iona University Department of Arts and Languages Visual Arts program is seeking an adjunct instructor to teachArt Appreciation for the Fall 2025 term beginning August must have at least a masters degree in Art Education Art Historyor Fine Artsee full qualifications and responsibilities position is to teach two sections of the same introductory course Art Appreciation. One section is on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30. The other is on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30. Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the adjunct faculty member is teaching but adjunct instructors may be asked to contribute to department events and/or attend meetings if schedules allow. Keeping email communication with students and the Visual Arts program director as well as with the Assistant Chair and Chair of the Arts and Languages Department is integral for this position.
