Our responsibilities encompass routine maintenance strategic enhancements and specialised projects aimed at bolstering Sydneys transport infrastructure.
About the role
We have an opportunity for a Civil Projects Supervisorto join us where you will support the project through the management of sub-contractor and internal teams providing leadership by safely managing performance of people work programs and processes. This includes primary responsibility for definition planning execution and closing activities necessary to successfully deliver works for the project safely.
Key responsibilities will include:
Participating in formal and contractual meetings with the client and other relevant parties.
Developing and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders.
Coordinating all activities across the contract including scheduling and programming of works.
Ensuring that everyone that undertakes work on the contract has the correct training and has valid licences.
Supporting the contract management system to ensure all maintenance or project activities are completed and ensuring all KPIs and contract performance requirements are met.
Conducting toolbox meetings communicate policies procedures and practices to work teams.
Assisting in the management of maintenance and construction projects in accordance with standards and risk management process.
Ensuring that the whole life cycle costs for all assets are collated and inputted into JAMs and maintaining the accuracy of the data in this system.
Developing and maintaining the shift roster liaising with service coordinators on workload management and ensuring resources are available to cover the roster.
Coordinating incident response between maintenance crews.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
Tertiary qualification in Engineering Construction or a high level of demonstrated work experience.
5 years of experience in a roads infrastructure environment.
Leadership experience and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholder groups.
Knowledge of asset management and asset management systems is highly desirable.
A valid drivers licence.
