Are you passionate about creating outdoor and waterfront experiences that inspire growth connection and adventure The University of Floridas Department of Recreational Sports is seeking a Coordinator for Lake Wauburg to lead and grow our dynamic programs and services at Lake Wauburg.
In this role you will:
Oversee the daily operations of our outdoor lakefront facilities within the support and direction of the Assistant Director for Lake Wauburg.
Recruit train and mentor a talented student team that facilitates programs and services for the UF community.
Develop and manage innovative waterfront programs and services that promote skill development adventure and well-being.
Ensure the highest standards of risk and safety maintaining all facilities and equipment.
Manage budgeting reservations and rentals keeping our programs financially and operationally strong.
$45000-$50000
Masters degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelors degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid drivers license; ARC Lifeguard certification and/or Challenge Course management certification.
Masters degree with two or more years of experience in waterfront operations and/or lifeguarding.
