Job Title:Business Development Account Coordinator

The Business Development (Sales Support) Account Coordinator supports the Business Development team by handling key administrative and logistical tasks allowing the BDs to focus on client-facing and acquisition-oriented work. This role is crucial for ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow through the early stages of a projects lifecycle.

Organizational Relationships

Reports to: V.P. Commercialization

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Business Development (BD) Team Support: Provide direct administrative and logistical support to the Business Development team. This includes attending client calls to capture and action deliverables freeing up the BDs to focus on client relationships.

  • Internal Liaison: Act as the key on-site contact for our off-site BDs working with internal departments to facilitate project movement routing and communication throughout the early stages of the process.

  • Project Documentation: Assist the BD team with administrative tasks such as entering necessary requests for the PD/R&D phases and ensuring project trackers are accurately updated with all key information and actions taken.

  • Sample Coordination: Manage the process of sending new product samples ensuring adequate stock is maintained and that client requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven admin or assistant experience
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Positive attitude for a high paced work environment
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint etc.)
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus.
  • Previous administrative experience a plus
  • Associates degree or equivalent
