Job Description
As a Full-Time Pharmacist at Mednow Pharmacys Vancouver location youll be responsible for safely and efficiently dispensing medications providing patient counseling and ensuring all prescriptions are properly filled and checked. Youll work in a dynamic technology-driven startup pharmacy environment where adaptability initiative and problem-solving are key. This is a MondayFriday 10 AM6 PM on-site role with no weekend or evening shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently including filling prescriptions and performing final checks.
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage side effects and overall health management.
- Manage workload independently while collaborating with the team to maintain smooth daily operations.
- Utilize Kroll pharmacy software to process and verify prescriptions.
- Prepare medications for delivery using our integrated systems.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and Mednows operational standards.
- Address patient inquiries and resolve medication-related issues promptly.
- Take initiative to identify and implement process improvements in a startup environment.
Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
- Minimum 12 years of community pharmacy experience.
- High proficiency with Kroll pharmacy software.
- Strong technology skills and comfort using app-based workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to exceptional patient care.
- Adaptable proactive and solutions-focused with the ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment.
- Organized detail-oriented and able to work efficiently under pressure.
$45 - $55 an hour
