Job Summary
Supports financial close reporting and analysis for Vistras Retail Brands focusing on contribution margin bad debt expense and regulatory reporting. This role assists with the preparation of financial schedules variance analysis and process documentation contributing to accurate monthly results and business insights across Retail operations.

Key Accountabilities
Staff Accountabilities:
- Completes assigned financial tasks with attention to accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
- Gathers organizes and verifies data to support reporting analysis and decision-making.
- Assists with process enhancements by identifying potential improvements in daily activities.
- Works effectively within a team to meet deadlines and deliverables while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Actively develops skills through hands-on experience and engagement in learning opportunities.
Team Specific Accountabilities:
- Assists in the preparation and analysis of contribution margin results including identification of key drivers versus plan projection and prior year.
- Prepares journal entries and account reconciliations related to Retail revenue bad debt expense and related accruals.
- Supports reporting needs for the accounts receivable securitization program and regulatory/tax filings.
- Contributes to integration activities system implementations and documentation of SOX-compliant control processes.
Education Experience & Skill Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
Experience:
- 0-3 years in Accounting Finance or related field
- Experience preferred in the Energy industry but not required
- Skills:
- Experience with accounting and/or reporting systems
- Strong financial analysis problem solving & communication skills
- Process improvement oriented
- Fundamental understanding of Accounting Governance requirements
