Salary Range: $3879 - $7488/Monthly (Budgeted salary range $3879 - $4781/Monthly)
Work Schedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; non-exempt classification.
Essential Functions: This position may be focused in one program area and/or administrative specialty or may include more general duties crossing several programs or administrative specialties. Program areas and administrative specialties may include but are not limited to program administration administrative specialties and general administrative functions. The incumbent may coordinate projects within or with other units and will manage multiple work priorities and be accountable for their own work results. Curriculum/Scheduling Analysts will facilitate the curriculum and course scheduling processes for the unit. Duties include but are not limited to: serving as the primary course scheduler for the unit; independently providing problem-solving techniques and skills in investigating evaluating and analyzing problems in curriculum when it affects scheduling of courses; planning and leading the schedule building cycle and assisting with term workload review for each term. The analyst serves as the primary point of contact for faculty staff and students seeking assistance with questions pertaining to curriculum and course scheduling; coordinates the curriculum revision cycle; solicits reviews and tracks changes in Curriculog; and coordinates revisions with the scheduling building cycle.
Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study analysis and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies procedures practices or programs. Four years of progressively responsible experience providing day-to-day administration of a program and/or performing a variety of administrative and technical (analytical work related to operations and procedures) duties such as: fiscal analysis and management; program and policy research development implementation and evaluation. Working knowledge of curriculum and scheduling policies and procedures. Knowledge of basic methods and procedures for research and statistical analysis and the ability to apply them. Highly developed quantitative and reasoning skills attention to detail; excellent oral/written communication listening and interpretive skills and a demonstrated high level of proficiency in the use of computer programs such as MS Office and platforms such as GET 25Live and Curriculog. Ability to: learn interpret and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures relating to and impacting the applicable program organizational unit and/or administrative specialty; analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistical techniques; organize and plan work and projects including handling multiple priorities; make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment; compile write and present reports related to program or administrative specialty; and establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty students and staff within and outside the work group and serve as a liaison for the organizational unit. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU.
