About SolvencyAnalytics:

SolvencyAnalytics is a Zurich-based regulatory technology company specializing in Solvency II Swiss Solvency Test Basel frameworks and other European regulatory requirements. We provide technology-driven reporting and consulting solutions for leading insurance and asset management companies across Europe.

Our Budapest office hosts the Quantitative Reporting Analyst Product Quantitative Development Infrastructure and Platform teams working closely with our Zurich headquarters. Together we deliver cutting-edge solutions that help clients meet demanding regulatory requirements with accuracy and efficiency.

About the Position:

We are looking for a Quantitative Analyst to join our Budapest-based Quantitative Reporting Analyst Team. This team is responsible for the recurring production and validation of regulatory reports for our international clients as well as client communication.

The role combines regulatory reporting expertise financial knowledge and an increasing focus on quantitative addition to preparing and reviewing reports the team also validates new features released by our development teams into our reporting engine.

You will work in a team of 6 analysts (including the team lead) many of whom have senior experience and academic backgrounds in Finance and/or Economics from top universities. With the team currently shifting to an agile way of working this is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn grow and shape the future direction of our reporting function.

Tasks

  • Produce monthly and quarterly regulatory reports using both automated and manual processes
  • Validate reports for accuracy before client delivery
  • Perform feature validation of quantitative developments released into the reporting engine
  • Support continuous improvement of reporting and validation processes
  • Collaborate with the Developer Product and Account Manager teams on client projects
  • Provide consultancy internally and with clients regarding the produced reports
  • Assess and build processes and reports to increase the quality of control and productivity

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related fields. A strong quantitative interest is an advantage.
  • Experience: 0-3 years in Finance Accounting Auditing or Financial Reporting. Previous experience with regulatory projects (e.g. Solvency II Basel III) is an advantage but not required.
  • Skills:
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to deliver precise results

  • Team player with adaptability in a changing agile environment

  • Strong written and spoken English; German Italian or French is an advantage

  • Proficiency in MS Excel; Python SQL or VBA knowledge is an advantage

  • Mindset: Self-motivated detail-oriented open to learning quantitative concepts and eager to grow within a high-performing team.
