BBIS has an opening for a Boarding Team - Substitute Mentor (f/m/d) to support the safe and secure operation of boarding.
You dont need to be available all the time but we will call you as needed and you are free to say that you are not available on certain days.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES
- Support other boarding staff to ensure the safe and secure operation of boarding
- Attend to boarders who are absent from school.
- Maintain records of illness referrals and appointments and pass on relevant information to boarding staff parents and medical staff ensuring the medical database and ManageBac is updated.
- Liaise with the cleaning and maintenance team to ensure that the boarding house is a clean tidy and homely environment.
- Ensure boarding is consistently presented to a high standard and assist with updating notice boards and displays.
- Make regular inspections of student rooms.
- Order receive and store deliveries including student provisions and ensure the appropriate stock levels in kitchens.
- Monitor visitors and students signing-in and out from school.
- Support the boarding students in their everyday lives throughout their time boarding at BBIS.
YOUR QUALIFICATION

Important: Before beginning the employment at BBIS the following documents must be submitted:
- Proof of immunity against measles which must have been confirmed by a doctor if you were born after 1970. Alternatively a medical certificate of medical contraindication can be provided.
- The original certificate of the highest obtained (university) degree
- An extended certificate of conduct that must not be older than six months.
These documents are required to comply with legal and internal employment regulations.
