What you will do:
Support the Category Leader in developing procurement strategies
Conduct supplier analysis and market research for informed decisions
Assist with contract negotiations and supplier relationship management
Identify cost-saving opportunities within the category
Manage sourcing projects aligned with strategic goals
Track and report supplier performance and compliance
Ensure adherence to procurement policies and risk management practices
Prepare and analyze procurement data for strategic insights
Collaborate with stakeholders on category requirements and initiatives
Support demand forecasting and planning within the category
What you bring & who you are:
Masters degree in Business Supply Chain Procurement or related field
Certifications in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing (e.g. CIPS CPSM) are advantageous
Practical experience in managing sourcing projects and supplier negotiations
Expertise in strategic sourcing supplier evaluation and contract negotiation
Strong analytical skills and understanding of procurement policies and risk management
Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and data analytics tools (e.g. Excel Power BI)
Effective communicator and negotiator with strong relationship-building skills
Proactive detail-oriented and results-driven with a focus on value creation
Proficient in English; German is an advantage; additional language skills are beneficial
