Red Ember Recruitment s client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to support the execution of strategic sales and marketing initiatives within the chemical sector.
Job Description
This role focuses on managing existing client relationships while actively driving new business development including the revival of dormant accounts. Working closely with the Sales and Business Development Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new target markets and suppliers conducting client visits and representing the company at trade exhibitions to promote its chemical product portfolio.
KPI 1: SALES AND MARKETING
- Develop a comprehensive Sales visit and cold calling plan with a focus to identify prospective customers.
- Ensure 100% achievement of the set sales target and GP
- Conduct customer visits to sale maintain and build customer relationships with both existing and new customers.
- Obtain clear knowledge of business trends and competitor activities.
Maintain and update client information on the Company s CRM(ZOHO) System.
- Obtain clear knowledge of competitor activities and formulate counter plans.
KPI 2: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Conduct market review and product surveys.
- Identify and initiate introduction of new products and markets for the portfolio.
- Aggressive cold calling to reach out to many customers and hence increase sales customer database
- Prepare and conduct product presentations to existing potential clients and Sales team
KPI 3: CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Conduct customer satisfaction surveys.
- Resolve technical queries from customers.
- Conduct basic training on products within the portfolio.
KPI 4: SALES ADMINISTRATION:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree or Diploma in chemical engineering or any other related degree. Sales and Marketing qualifications will be an added advantage
Experiences
- Minimum 2 to 3 Years relevant experience in a similar position and specific knowledge gained in Chemical raw material sales
- Good knowledge of Chemical raw materials of various segments.
- Proficient in verbal and written English.
Skills/ Attributes
- Target driven and customer centric
- Strong technical and business acumen.
- Self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision.
- Team player to be able to interact in a multi-disciplinary team.
