Medical Sales Executives primary role is to promote and sell their companys medical products or services to healthcare professionals building relationships and driving sales within a defined territory. This includes identifying potential customers conducting product presentations negotiating contracts and providing ongoing support. They also stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities develop sales strategies and meet sales targets.
Relationship Building:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals including doctors pharmacists and hospital staff.
Product Promotion:
Conduct product demonstrations presentations and provide detailed information about the features and benefits of the companys products.
Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to close sales.
Market Knowledge:
Stay informed about industry trends competitor activities and new product developments.
Customer Support:
Provide ongoing support to customers address inquiries and resolve product-related issues.
Reporting and Analysis:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities customer interactions and sales performance.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
Typical Duties:
Territory Management: Manage a designated sales territory scheduling and attending client meetings.
Product Training: Provide product training and support to customers.
Market Research: Conduct research on healthcare facilities and the products they might benefit from.
Sales Reporting: Prepare and submit sales reports to management.
Travel: Travel within the assigned territory to call on customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Sales Experience: Proven sales experience preferably in the medical or pharmaceutical industry.
Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of the medical products or services being sold.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Must be a high school graduate. Further training in child care and development from some registered institution (eg. ACNS ). Proven child care experience with references. First Aid and CPR certification. Safety certification. A valid driving license and a safe driving record.
