Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Storage Engineer with expertise in Pure Storage platforms to design implement and manage enterprise backup and storage solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with FlashArray FlashBlade and leading backup tools such as Commvault Veeam and Networker. This role involves ensuring optimal storage performance data protection and disaster recovery readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Design implement and manage enterprise backup and storage solutions using Pure Storage technologies.
Administer and maintain Pure Storage FlashArray and FlashBlade systems for high-performance data storage.
Monitor storage performance capacity and health using Pure1 and other monitoring tools.
Ensure data protection backup integrity and disaster recovery preparedness.
Collaborate with backup software teams (e.g. Commvault Veeam Networker) for seamless integration.
Perform regular backup validation and restore testing to ensure recoverability.
Optimize storage utilization and implement deduplication and compression strategies.
Maintain accurate documentation for storage configurations policies and procedures.
Support audits and ensure compliance with data retention and security policies.
Stay updated on Pure Storage product enhancements and recommend improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience with Pure Storage FlashArray FlashBlade and Pure1.
Strong knowledge of backup solutions: Commvault Veeam Networker.
Expertise in storage performance monitoring optimization and capacity planning.
Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution.
Familiarity with deduplication compression and storage optimization techniques.
Excellent troubleshooting documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications in Pure Storage or backup technologies.
Experience in enterprise-scale storage deployments and migrations.
