To maintain the smooth operation of the Stewarding Department to maximize labor efficiency maintain budgeted labor costs guarantee safe working conditions and keep the highest standards of sanitation.

Reporting to the Executive Chef responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Operations Management
- Oversee daily stewarding operations including dish rooms night cleaning trash room back dock cleaning employee cafeteria main kitchen restaurant outlets banquet kitchens plating and food running for events.
- Coordinate banquet plating and food running with the Banquet Chef.
- Enforce proper breakdown and clean-up procedures for banquets restaurants room service and employee cafeteria.
- Ensure all areas and equipment meet sanitation cleanliness and safety standards as set by the Health Department company policies and ESG initiatives.
- Work with culinary and events teams to anticipate and fulfill equipment and supply needs.
- Conduct regular inspections of supplies equipment and work areas.
Staff Leadership
- Recruit interview hire train schedule and develop stewarding staff.
- Conduct monthly safety trainings and ensure staff maintain required food handling and sanitation certifications.
- Foster a positive work environment by soliciting employee feedback maintaining an open-door policy and addressing concerns promptly.
- Lead by example performing and training staff on all stewarding duties.
Financial & Inventory Control
- Monitor labor costs to remain within budgeted targets.
- Manage payroll administration and control departmental expenses.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly inventories of supplies cleaning compounds and operating equipment.
- Manage the inflow and storage of ordered materials.
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with MSDS and EHC Binder requirements.
- Ensure all stewarding operations adhere to health safety and sanitation regulations.
- Support the hotels ESG and sustainability programs.
Qualifications :
- Proven leadership experience in stewarding or kitchen operations in a high-volume hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and safe food handling practices.
- Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information :
Salary Range: $85000 to $110000 USD Gross per Annual
Visa: Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
