For an international Food Ingredients Distributor acting in Europe Africa and West Asia we are looking for a

Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients

  • You will sell valued added Food Ingredients to the Food and Beverage Industry
  • Markets are Denmark Sweden Norway and Finland
  • You will be responsible for the business development of a selection of food ingredients in different branches of the food industry.
  • Target is to open a Sales office
  • this is a B2B Job and not for candidates from Hotels Restaurants etc.

Tasks

  • Analysis of the market and the product range of our suppliers to find new potentials
  • Responsible for making market strategy purchasing and selling of assigned Product-groups
  • Building a close relationship with our suppliers and customers
  • Visits of customers analysis of their needs creation of value propositions
  • Participation in production trials at the customer/implementation of small-scale trials in the application kitchen
  • Project management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager
  • Alignment of the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers
  • You will benefit from numerous pieces of training (internal and abroad) every year.
  • Discover and understand customers needs and develop tailor-made solutions
  • Conduct lab small-scale or industrial trials with customers
  • Follow up offers payments
  • Develop and execute Sales Budget and forecasts

Requirements

  • Degree in Food Technology Must have
  • Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
  • exceptionally good communication negotiation and analytical skills
  • high willingness to travel
  • very organized reliable positive thinking
  • Very good knowledge of a local languas and English (fluent in spoken and written) Must have
  • you have a valid driving license Must have
