This is a remote position.

Role Name: Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant

Schedule: Part-time: Monday Wednesday Friday (9 AM - 5 PM)

Client Timezone: AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time)

Job Description

This unique hybrid role combines essential bookkeeping expertise with creative presentation development offering the perfect opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a varied fast-paced environment. You ll work directly with company leadership to support critical investment decisions from maintaining accurate financial records to crafting investor presentations that showcase promising business opportunities. Responsibilities
  • Manage daily bookkeeping operations including invoice processing revenue tracking and expenditure monitoring using Xero accounting software
  • Create and maintain comprehensive P&L spreadsheets and financial documentation
  • Develop compelling investor presentations using Canva transforming provided data into visually appealing materials
  • Conduct basic financial forecasting and analysis for investor presentation purposes
  • Maintain active communication with investors through follow-up calls and email correspondence
  • Support spontaneous administrative projects and tasks as business needs arise
  • Streamline backend financial processes across multiple investment ventures
  • Assist with project-specific research and data compilation for investment analysis
  • Respond to stakeholder communications and manage various administrative duties


Requirements
  • Proven bookkeeping experience with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software for financial management tasks
  • Experience creating professional presentations using Canva or similar design platforms
  • Basic understanding of financial forecasting P&L statements and investment metrics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for investor relations
  • Flexible adaptable mindset with ability to handle diverse changing priorities
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Independent work style with proactive problem-solving approach
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where tasks may shift based on business opportunities
