You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs the Executive Housekeeper for the pre-opening of Tivoli Muscat you will play a pivotal role in establishing the Housekeeping department from the ground up. You will oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations including rooms public areas laundry and back-of-house cleanliness ensuring the highest standards of luxury efficiency and guest satisfaction in line with Tivoli brand standards. This role requires strong leadership pre-opening experience and a detailed operational approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Opening Phase:
Participate in pre-opening planning budgeting recruitment procurement and setting up SOPs.
Design and implement Housekeeping operational workflows policies and procedures.
Oversee the selection purchasing and inventory of linen guest amenities equipment and cleaning supplies.
Recruit train and onboard the housekeeping team to meet brand standards and local regulations.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g. Rooms Engineering Front Office) to ensure readiness for opening.
Set up cleaning schedules and room assignment systems (manual/digital).
Operational Responsibilities:
Lead train and manage all housekeeping and laundry team members.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms public areas and back-of-house.
Monitor and maintain departmental budgets inventories and cost controls.
Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections.
Ensure compliance with health safety and hygiene regulations.
Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally to ensure high satisfaction.
Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance for room readiness and preventive maintenance.
Prepare departmental reports including occupancy-related forecasts and performance metrics.
People & Culture:
Foster a positive and motivated work environment through training communication and recognition.
Monitor performance and provide ongoing feedback and development for team members.
Ensure staffing levels are adequate and aligned with operational needs and occupancy.
Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role preferably with international luxury hotel brands.
Proven experience in hotel pre-opening is required.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proficient in housekeeping systems and hotel property management software.
Good understanding of budgeting scheduling and inventory control.
Knowledge of local labor laws and hygiene standards.
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
