You will be working with the Co-Director Mori Mori Leadership Team Pou Tikanga Research Operations Manager Centre Co-Directors and the Centre Operations Team including our summer research programme leads. Te Whiwhinga mahi The opportunity
We are looking for someone who is passionate about bringing our researchers communities whnau and rangatahi together in new and different ways to galvanise our efforts to bring equity to Mori heart health in Aotearoa. As our new pouwhakarite you will support the Centres Co-Director Mori and Mori Leadership Team in all aspects of their work; plan promote and coordinate the Centres Mori outreach education workforce development and engagement activities and work closely with our Kura Raumati Lead to support our Kura Raumati research programme.
You will bring with you an understanding of Te Ao Mori and experience of building relationships in Mori communities and stakeholders including researchers students community groups educational organisations and health organisations.
As a national centre Ptahi Manawa connects researchers and communities across the whole country and the role will require some national travel. Remote working is an option for those living outside of the Auckland area provided the candidate can make regular visits to our Auckland office.
Key accountabilities include:
This is a part-time (0.8 FTE - 30 hours per week) fixed-term role until 31 December 2028.
The remuneration is $77100 - $88900 per annum (pro rata) dependent on skills and experience.
