What Youll Do
Mechanical Team Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise and lead mechanical maintenance teams to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Train and develop junior mechanics in advanced mechanical procedures and safety protocols
- Coordinate team schedules and assignments to maximize equipment availability and maintenance efficiency
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to build mechanical expertise across the team
Major Repair Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute complex major mechanical repairs with precision and efficiency
- Develop comprehensive maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability and maximize uptime
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment failures and operational downtime
- Coordinate with operations teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal production impact
Equipment Management & Reliability
- Conduct thorough equipment inspections to identify potential issues and maintenance requirements
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and implement reliability improvement initiatives
- Ensure all mechanical systems operate within specified parameters and safety guidelines
- Develop and maintain equipment maintenance schedules and compliance protocols
Inventory Management & Emergency Response
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure critical components are available for maintenance activities
- Lead emergency mechanical response initiatives for equipment failures and critical repairs
- Coordinate with procurement teams to optimize spare parts availability and cost management
- Provide rapid response capabilities for urgent mechanical issues and equipment emergencies

Requirements
Who You Are
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification with mechanical focus
- BOSIET/FOET (Basic/Further Offshore Emergency Training) certification
- Equipment-specific certifications relevant to offshore mechanical systems
- Lifting operations certification demonstrating competency in mechanical lifting procedures
- Valid medical certificate demonstrating fitness for offshore mechanical operations
What You Bring
- 8-12 years of comprehensive mechanical experience in oil & gas or heavy industrial operations
- Leadership training with demonstrated team management and development capabilities
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems maintenance procedures and troubleshooting
- Proven expertise in major repair planning and execution with minimal downtime
- Strong inventory management skills with spare parts optimization experience
- Emergency response capabilities for critical mechanical failures and urgent repairs
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with operations teams and management
- Training and mentorship abilities to develop junior mechanical personnel
