We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Duty Manager to join our team in Cairo Egypt. As a Duty Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily hotel operations ensuring exceptional guest experiences and leading our front-line staff to maintain the highest standards of service.
- Conduct daily briefings and ensure effective communication of important information to team members
- Supervise and manage front desk operations ensuring the highest quality of service and adherence to department standards
- Analyze and improve workflow and standards at the Front Desk
- Review rate variance reports to ensure proper revenue control and approve discounts when necessary
- Coordinate with other hotel departments on general administration and operational issues
- Handle guest needs and complaints tactfully and efficiently maintaining a strong management presence
- Inspect front and back of house areas regularly for cleanliness and orderliness
- Ensure front-line staff compliance with marketing techniques and sales maximization strategies
- Monitor guest credit and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Manage full house situations and coordinate arrangements for overbookings and relocations
- Oversee valet desk and driveway operations to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Implement and enforce safety security and loss control policies and procedures
- Conduct night audit processes for the hotel
- Train and mentor staff to uphold service standards and foster professional growth
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in hospitality management preferably in a similar role
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to train and motivate team members
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English
- Outstanding customer service orientation with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in hotel management software and systems
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution and guest complaint handling
- In-depth knowledge of hotel operations procedures and industry best practices
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights weekends and holidays
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
