Job Description
The Tire Research and Development department at our location in Hanover-Stcken is responsible for the quality of our development processes.
In this exciting environment we offer a mandatory internship starting in November 2025 with the option to follow up with a thesis project. For the best possible learning experience the internship should be 6 months long. A combination of voluntary and mandatory internships is feasible with the mandatory part lasting at least 12 weeks.
Tasks include:
- Collaboration in the further development of quality-related trainings including support in the implementation
- Participation in the improvement of the product development process of tires based on analyses of the existing data e.g. on the development results and market performance
- Support in the development of meaningful quality indicators
- Collaboration in the further development of Continental knowledge management (Yokoten)
Qualifications :
- Students (m/f/diverse) in the field of mechanical engineering industrial engineering mechatronics or comparable study programs
- Specialization or strong focus in Data Science or Quality Management is preferred
- First experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Basic knowledge of database systems
- Confident handling of MS Office-applications
- Very good language skills in German and English both written and spoken
- Collaborative mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Systematic and organized work style
