Senior Full Stack Engineer
Full-Time Remote from Latin America Required Overlap: 9 AM - 3 PM PST (6 hours)
About the Role
Were hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design build and scale EkLines AI-powered documentation platform. Youll work directly with the founders to deliver new features across our web application VS Code extension and GitHub app. This role is ideal for a highly skilled engineer who thrives in early-stage startup environments takes ownership from day one and delivers measurable impact for users.
Success in the First 3-6 Months
- Deliver multiple high-impact features that improve customer workflows.
- Ship reliable maintainable code in TypeScript React and with full test coverage.
- Improve platform performance and scalability by at least 20%.
- Lead technical decisions for new integrations and API enhancements.
- Mentor junior engineers raising team code quality and velocity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop maintain and enhance our web application and platform integrations.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs for cross-system integration.
- Collaborate with founders on product design architecture and roadmap.
- Ensure performance scalability and reliability across all systems.
- Implement secure scalable infrastructure using Google Cloud services.
- Conduct code reviews and support junior engineers growth.
Requirements
- 5 years as a Full Stack Engineer.
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript React and .
- Strong API development and deployment experience.
- Skilled with SQL and NoSQL databases (BigQuery Firestore preferred).
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience in early-stage startups or SaaS platforms.
- Strong ownership mindset excellent communication skills and commitment to continuous learning.
- Experience using AI tools to boost engineering productivity.
- English: C1 or C2 level for daily communication with U.S.-based team.
- Able to work at least 6 hours overlap with PST (9 AM - 3 PM).
Preferred Qualifications

- Understanding of NLP machine learning and AI workflow integrations.
Compensation & Logistics
- Annual Salary: $60000-$72000 USD
- Early-stage equity and performance-based bonuses.
- Fully remote from anywhere in Latin America.
- Flexible hours with required PST overlap.
