Job Description
We are hiring on behalf of a US-invested product design and development engineering company specializing in innovative user-centric consumer products and IoT technology solutions for well-known global brands.
As a Production Controller you will be responsible for planning coordinating and monitoring production processes from RFQ to final shipment. This role involves close collaboration with suppliers logistics partners and internal teams to ensure production runs on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
This position offers a clear pathway to promotion to Production Control Supervisor for candidates who demonstrate strong performance and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and oversee production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and quality requirements.
Forecast and manage the resources needed to achieve production targets efficiently.
Prepare and monitor product budgets based on scope and resource requirements.
Track product costs to ensure compliance with budget and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Drive coordination across all related functions to keep production on time within cost and at quality targets.
Manage suppliers from prototype through production and shipment ensuring adherence to schedules purchase orders and delivery commitments.
Oversee the process from RFQ prototype and tooling samples through mass production and export shipping.
Compile and maintain organized records for production processes schedules specifications pricing lead times and other documentation for effective program management.
Conduct ongoing risk assessments for production implementing adjustments as needed to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
Serve as the primary relationship manager with suppliers assigning tasks and communicating deliverables.
Monitor and report on production progress making schedule or resource adjustments as necessary.
Evaluate production performance and recommend improvements.

Requirements
Bachelor s degree or above in a relevant field (college diploma acceptable with strong relevant experience).
5 8 years experience in project or production management preferably in consumer products.
Proven ability to manage the full production lifecycle from planning to delivery.
Strong familiarity with project management tools methodologies and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to address challenges creatively.
Highly organized self-motivated and able to handle conflict calmly and professionally.
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
English: professional level for reading and writing; intermediate speaking ability acceptable.
Age range: 28 35.
Open to both male and female local candidates.
Based in Shenzhen with occasional weekend work depending on business needs.
