  • Part-time 0.6 FTE until June 2027
  • Based in Ringwood East on the lands of the Wurundjeri People
  • From $51.23 per hour (dependent on qualifications and skills) Super Salary Packaging

Our Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing team works alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children young people families and communities to provide wraparound trauma-informed and culturally respectful services.

Were looking for an Aboriginal Pathways to Good Health Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary team and lead a program making a real difference for Aboriginal children and young people (018) in Out of Home Care (OoHC).

Your role your impact

In this role youll:

  • Provide culturally safe health navigation and wellbeing support ensuring care respects cultural identity and community connection.
  • Deliver holistic trauma-informed clinical services in line with your AHPRA registration.
  • Build strong trusting relationships with Aboriginal children families and carers.
  • Offer secondary consultations with a cultural lens to child protection and residential care teams.
  • Coordinate and provide operational and cultural leadership for the Pathways to Good Health program.
  • Mentor team members in culturally safe practice ensuring services meet both clinical and cultural safety standards.

Who were looking for

Youre an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander health professional with:

  • AHPRA registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner.
  • Experience providing culturally safe trauma-informed services to Aboriginal children and young people.
  • Knowledge of the health social and emotional wellbeing needs of Aboriginal children particularly those in OoHC.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work in partnership with ACCOs community and multidisciplinary teams.
  • A current Victorian drivers licence.
