Here at Air New Zealand Cargo we have a unique ability to work strategically with Shippers Exporters Freight Forwarders and Industry-bodies to develop long term sustainable growth plans. To continue this success story and supercharge our cargo business we are looking for an energetic and innovative professional to join us as a Senior AccountManager (Senior Sales Specialist Cargo). Based inSydneythis role will look to supportour customers across a range of cargo channels. 

Building strong relationships with customers is your key strength enabling you to effectively advocate for enhancements. Your outstanding communication skills will help you maintain and strengthen these relationships ensuring their needs are met. Youll work closely with senior commercial leaders to implement necessary improvements and ensure efficient operations. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Strategic Client Partnerships: Create and drive sales strategies that are focused on growth and aligned with our customers needs. 
  • Sales Performance: Develop and execute account growth plans to achieve revenue targets. 
  • Champion Change: Support customers into adopting new systems in line with the Air New Zealand Cargo transformation. 
  • Foster strong collaboration:Working across internal teams and external stakeholders bridging sales and operations to deliver seamless outcomes.  
  • Market Insight and Innovation: Leverage insights and trends to shape innovative strategies that keep us responsive to customer needs and ahead of the curve. 

As a trusted advisor you are confident and agile in identifying opportunities and answering any questions that come your way. Juggling multiple tasks you constantly strive to work proactively staying two steps ahead to ensure everything runs at optimum efficiency. Utilsing your strong planning and execution skills you will contribute to creating a high-performing and winning team culture. 

If you live and breathe strategic thinking and possess business consultative or advisory experience or have worked within International Trade Cargo Freight/Logistics or Services Industries where value-based selling is prevalent we want to hear from you.
