- Answering enquiries from customers and internal staff regarding delivery issues
- Provide knowledgeable courteous and helpful customer service to internal and external customers
- Ensure customer satisfaction in every transaction; daily target of # of bookings are achieved
- Trouble shoot problem solve and offer the best possible solution to customer queries including complaints
- Prepare and enter despatch information into the DISTRIB computer system with very high accuracy and in a timely manner
- Coordinate and manage delivery jobs for drivers and provide administrative support within the process.
- Radaro (Transport Management System) to be maintained daily.
- Use Radaro to prepare and route runs for sub-contractors.
- Report and log customer concerns or requirements to staff in other departments in an appropriate and timely manner to minimise customer dissatisfaction.
- Ensure Time and Attendance is adhered within the company policies.
- Ensure coordination of OHS across whole of work site and implementing safe work practices where necessary
- Ensure escalated issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Assist in managing Delivery teams / Carriers.
- Despatch administration tasks to be completed daily.
- Any task directed by Despatch Supervisor.
- Assist both dispatch and service departments if and when required as directed by the National Despatch Operations Manager
Qualifications :
Previous Despatch experience preferred but not essential.
Only those with full working rights in Australia need apply.
