You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailJob Summary: The Youth Support Specialist is responsible for promoting awareness of the Regional Youth Services Center services. This positions focus is to increase accessibility and use of behavioral health and support services available to youth young adults and their families. This position will work in collaboration with schools and other youth-serving organizations. The Youth Support Specialist will be trained to assist with initial screening and link individuals to needed services. The Youth Support Specialist will also provide individual and group supportive early intervention and recovery support for youth young adults within schools and the community utilizing evidence-based programs. This employee will ensure compliance with safe work practices and maintain safe environments in compliance with established agency standards licensing regulations and generally accepted practices.

Education and Experience:
Requires Bachelor Degree in Psychology Social Work Sociology Education Criminal Justice or related human services field; Prefers 1-2 years of previous experience with evidence-based intervention and recovery programs. Must have a valid drivers license and proof of automobile insurance as required by law
