SUMMARY
The main responsibility of this position is to be the primary contact for ALL commercial kitting contracts. This includes managing projects in multiple buildings and managing inventory.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and direct programs to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation of the Kitting programs.
Plan and schedule all distribution services for the kitting projects including but not limited to receiving storing shipping handling returns/damaged goods kitting and assembly maintenance and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met.
Assist in the development of procedures to ensure efficient operation and utilization
Ensure accurate inventory control of all product
Monitor space utilization
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist kitting customers with any inventory quality and operational related issues
Answer all customer inquiries within predetermined time
Gather data and submit monthly invoice to the Vice President of Logistics NLT the 5th of each month.
Create all required reports and charts and submit to Vice President of Logistics NLT the 5th of each month.
Coordinate the annual inventory as required by Peckham or any customers.
Maintain all Peckham DLA NISH CARF and MIOSHA standards.
Maintain safe and clean work environment
Promote Peckhams vision values and services to all customers and stakeholders
Assist in maintaining organizational wide quality standards
Other related duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree or eight years experience in Supply Chain or Logistics
Or mix of education and experience
Individual must also be able to gain and maintain the necessary security clearances
Forklift certification
Must have reliable transportation to get between job locations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Warehouse Management System knowledge
Forklift and reach truck knowledge
Operations and Logistics knowledge
