ProFleet Heavy Duty supplies all-makes commercial truck parts located at 1219 Harmon Ave. Columbus OH 43223. ProFleet is currently looking to hire a qualified Parts Counter Salesperson- learn more about the position below and apply today!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist all customers both retail and shop in selecting required parts. Share the cost and availability of the parts.
- Inform customer of companion part requirements and specials and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
- Participates in the coordination of orders being pulled and filled from the warehouse to their customer.
- Provides information to Parts Manager and Buyer on out-of-stock products.
- Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source.
- Follows up on back-ordered parts.
- Solicits assigned accounts by phone or email.
- Participates in all training programs made available in order to keep current on new products and product updates.
- Maintains professional appearance
Qualifications
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent required with basic knowledge of truck/auto components.
- Excellent communication skills and must speak English.
- High school business math.
- Knowledge of and ability to work on a computer.
- General mechanical aptitude.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job. Specifically:
- Must be able to walk stand kneel crouch reach and lift.
- Must be able to carry 10 to 50 pounds.
