Job Description

Opportunity

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator to support our Huntsville AL location.

Duties:

  • This position will support both the contracts and subcontracts teams.
  • Negotiates contracts and subcontracts to include large services and engineering projects.
  • Lead proposal preparation contract negotiation and contract administration activities from proposal through closeout.
  • Candidate must have in depth knowledge of In-depth knowledge of Government regulations (FAR / DFARS) and all contract types: Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Time & Materials (T&M) Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) Fixed Price Level of Effort (FPLOE) Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and General Service Administration (GSA) type contracts.
  • Participate in customer meetings performing and monitoring compliance to contract requirements and leading change management process.
  • Negotiate non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements within company guidelines.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Must be a consummate team player routinely interacting with programs contracts procurement finance and project control.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5 years of professional experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • Travel:None
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Education Requirements:

  • A completed Bachelors Degree (from an accredited college) in Business Administration Finance or related field ORequivalent experience/combined education.

Desired Skills:

  • NCMA Certification preferred
  • CPSR Experience
  • JAMIS Accounting System Experience
