Job Description
The FIRST Tech Challenge Assistant Coach will be responsible for all aspects of their assigned FTC team. Specific tasks will include but are not limited to
- Promoting FIRST Tech Challenge opportunities within the school district.
- Supervising students at all team meetings.
- Recruiting students for their team and keeping team roster records.
- Helping to recruit mentors for their team.
- Coordinating meeting times and locations with other FTC teams.
- Coordinating equipment and material resources with other FTC teams.
- Submitting parts and materials orders to the FTC Head Coach.
- Arranging Team Sponsors through Grant Requests to fund the activities of their team.
- Communicating with other FTC coaches the district STEM Facilitator and building Principal(s) about team events organization and resources.
