JOB SUMMARY The Quality Technician/Inspector position is responsible for upholding all processes that contribute to quality. The position ensures products are inspected dispositioned and routed properly. Maintaining process integrity and contributing to continuous improvement are vital to fulfilling this role. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
- Validate and visually inspect products for conformity.
- Inspect test and repair returned products from dealers and end-users.
- Disposition and route products accordingly (New Repaired RTF).
- Assist with return to factory or duty drawback processes logging return to factory inventory validating and preparing shipments.
- Support other workstreams on special projects.
- Maintain product preservation and identification throughout quality processes.
- Maintain inventory in a traceable manner.
- Provide internal and external technical support.

QUALIFICATIONS - A high school diploma or the equivalent is required.
- Ability to multi-task prioritize and manage priorities effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work and focus in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a strong work ethic and high-level integrity.
- Must be able to follow procedures and maintain process integrity at all levels of the organization.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook and SAP.
- Willing to undergo and pass a background check and drug screen.
Perform additional duties as required to support the departments effective operation.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. The employee may be required to bend twist reach push pull and operate office machinery and motor vehicles.
- Must be able to lift to (50) pounds.
- This position occupies a normal climate-controlled office setting but the employee may be exposed to outdoor conditions such as inclement weather and varying degrees of temperature while traveling to meet position expectations.
- Maintaining professional decorum and organized workspaces is essential to the position.
WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS This is an on-site everyday position. Schedules will vary depending on business needs and may entail working nights weekends and holidays. Must be flexible to work outside departmental operating hours.
