Reporting to the SBA Office Manager the Administrative Assistant for Academic Centers and Operations provides administrative and operational support across multiple areas including faculty hiring and compensation purchasing PCard reconciliation and academic center programming. The role supports day-to-day logistics and ensures compliance with university procedures related to employment travel and academic support operations.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three or more years of administrative support experience in a professional setting.
Strong communication organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
Experience with purchasing and travel systems.
Ability to manage confidential information and prioritize tasks.
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
Associates or Bachelors degree.
Experience in higher education administrative services.
Familiarity with Banner Cognos Chrome River and university HR/payroll systems.
Knowledge of university purchasing and travel reimbursement processes.
Experience supporting academic centers or programs.
