About the Role
We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Perioperative Services Manager. The Perioperative Services Manager is responsible for the management of our eleven operating theatres day surgery intake recovery and central sterilising department. You will work with the hospital executive team and all stakeholders to achieve excellence in care delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirements. This role offers the exciting opportunity to work closely with the Director of Clinical Services in the business development of surgical services including stakeholder management to enhance partnerships drive growth and improve service offerings.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective leader with the ability to engage motivate and work with all key stakeholders to achieve positive patient outcomes.
You will bring extensive clinical skills and experience along with exceptional interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to coordinate and motivate a large team of clinical and non-clinical professionals.
You will also bring
Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience within an acute hospital setting preferably perioperative.
Proven ability to successfully lead and motivate a clinical services team providing strategic direction & positive leadership.
Knowledge and understanding of contemporary clinical risk management strategies that are effective in promoting and ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
Demonstrated ability to lead through a continuous improvement model to achieve high quality patient outcomes.
Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite (Word Excel and Outlook)
ADCS or NUM (or equivalent) experience is highly desirable.
Post-graduate studies in an appropriate speciality or management qualifications will be highly regarded.
