JOB TITLE: Front Desk Assistant and Insurance Verifier
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Front Desk Assistant and Insurance Verifier will possess excellent written and verbal skills and be in communications with physicians offices and patients. Responsibilities will include the verification of benefits and coverages of insurance plans specific to the patient with the ability to calculate an estimated responsibility. Contact will be made with patients to make payment arrangements for upcoming procedures. This position will also work closely with other members of the facility in order to source the most accurate information available for all cases to be and checking in patients answering phones performing office opening procedures petty cash balancing co-pay/co-insurance collection assisting patients as needed and other clerical duties as assigned.
