The role
Were looking for a skilled and driven Credentialing Lead to join our credentialing leadership team. Youll be the go-to expert for all things credentialing ensuring our healthcare providers are onboarded efficiently accurately and compliantly. This is a high-impact role where your decisions will directly influence operational quality compliance and the expansion of our services.
You will lead and mentor a team of credentialing specialists collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and ensure our processes meet the highest standards - while helping drive new initiatives and innovations across the business.
Where youll work
This role is primarily on-site at our vibrant Irving TX office offering a collaborative and engaging work environment. We also support a hybrid schedule with the flexibility to work 23 days per week from home.
What youll be doing
Own and oversee credentialing processes ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
Partner with legal quality assurance and training teams to define and refine provider onboarding requirements.
Lead and mentor credentialing specialists defining priorities scope and growth opportunities.
Monitor quality across regions investigate issues and coordinate with third-party vendors.
Serve as the subject matter expert and liaison for internal teams clients and government agencies.
Support new initiatives including implementing credentials for new therapies specialties and verticals.
Investigate and adjudicate fingerprint-based background checks.
Contribute to strategic projects and larger organizational initiatives.
What youll need
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (Masters preferred in Public Health Healthcare Business Criminal Justice HR or Social Work).
4 years in healthcare credentialing revenue cycle management or HR.
2 years in a leadership or mentorship role.
Experience working with compliance regulatory or legal teams.
Strong project management skills and experience on cross-functional teams.
Exceptional attention to detail time management and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
