Job Description
HVAC Project Engineer position with a large mechanical and plumbing construction company
We are a large growing mechanical contractor that works on many large mechanical hvac and plumbing projects. This is a full-time position with great benefits retirement package and plenty of room for career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure client satisfaction in early phase of upcoming projects.
- Ability to commute to different jobsites and assist the Project Manager in managing large HVAC construction projects.
- Assist in managing organizing and documenting: plans and specifications schedule management for field and subcontractors equipment progress billing submittals RFIs material purchases change orders cost engineering labor and production tracking.
Requirements:
- Local
- Stable work-history.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar in Construction Management is preferred.
- 3years of field experience on large HVAC commercial projects ranging from 50k to $30M.
- Strong software knowledge in Microsoft Office MS Project BlueBeam or similar Scheduling and Cost Estimating software are a plus.
- Knowledge in State building and HVAC codes ASHRAE LEED among others are a plus.
