Are you a newly qualified CA(SA) looking to move out of audit and into an exciting pan-African finance group
Were hiring a Financial Accountant to join a dynamic fast-scaling financial services team with operations across Africa. This is your chance to gain hands on accounting experience and be part of an ambitious growth journey with strong leadership bold plans and a hands-on team culture.
What this role is all about:
As Financial Accountant youll play a central role in driving financial operations reporting and forecasting across the group. From automation and audits to modelling and budgeting youll support smarter decision-making and help shape the groups financial strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate accounting processes and ensure reporting accuracy
- Prepare financial reports models and forecasts
- Assist in budget planning and performance monitoring
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
- Support audits compliance and tax submissions
- Identify process improvements and use AI tools to enhance efficiency
- Contribute to ongoing digital innovation in the finance function
What were looking for:
- Registered or eligible to register CA(SA)
- Newly qualified or up to one year post-articles experience
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in financial technology and automation
- Resilient proactive and excited by the challenges of operating in emerging markets
