As the General Medicines Commercial Director (Secondment) you will play a pivotal role in PAVE (Portfolio Alternative Value Enablement) with a primary focus on Somavert & Elelyso driving strategies that enhance patient outcomes and contribute to the advancement of healthcare solutions. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of our products ensuring they reach those in need and improve their quality of life. The duration of this secondment will be 6-9 months.
What You Will Achieve
In your role you will:
Support the transition of in-scope brands to PAVE portfolio
Liaise with cross-functional teams as appropriate to ensure appropriate brand support levels
Partner with legacy teams to identify opportunities and navigate ways of working
Drive commercial strategies for Somavert & Elelyso aligning them with overarching PAVE and organizational objectives.
Identify commercial opportunities to enable achievement of brand goals
Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues in support of brands
Manage GCMA approved assets and approval process for updates
Partner across the broader PAVE team to leverage learnings and efficiency opportunities
Serve as a brand steward to ensure consistent messaging brand health and operational discipline
Monitor market dynamics competitor activity and customer feedback to inform tactical adjustments
Solve complex problems propose innovative solutions and recommend strategies that shape brand decisions.
Influence management decisions with well-reasoned recommendations.
Act as a key contributor whose work and evaluations are integral to the businesss success.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
A BA/BS with at least 8 years of experience an MBA/MS with at least 7 years of experience a PhD/JD with at least 5 years of experience or an MD/DVM with at least 4 years of experience is required for this role. Your educational background will provide the foundation for strategic thinking and leadership in the complex landscape of pharmaceutical commercialization.
Proven track record in pharmaceutical commercial strategy development.
Brand management experience.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
Excellent project management capabilities.
Proficiency in market analysis and forecasting.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
Expertise in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.

Secondment 6-9 months

Position is considered Flexible and colleagues are expected to comply with Log In For Your Day (LIFYD) requirements at site location (e.g. about 2.5 days a week in office).
