Job Description
THIS IS AN EXEMPT POSITION!
- Note the hourly rate is for posting purposes only (this traveler will not be paid hourly)
- As an Exempt Traveler there are no premiums/multipliers in place for this need (no OT Holiday Call/Call-back etc).
- $5000/week ($1000/day125/hr equivalent)
- Weekly rate will not include Orientation week or any RTO!
Exemption forms are available in Trio/Downloadable Forms (Both forms REQUIRE Provider/Religious Leader Signatures) or please ask your delivery team for documents. IF APPROVED BY HEALTHSYSTEM TRAVELER WILL WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON SITE. To avoid delays in processing please include traveler covid vaccination card/or intent to fill out exemption form with profile submission. Thank you!
Responsible for directing the operation of the hospital on evenings nights and weekends.
This direction includes responsibility not only for the inpatient units but for all ancillary and support departments that operate during these hours.
- Recognized as a role model for clinical expertise; documented ability to make prompt quality decisions in the clinical setting.
- Demonstrates sufficient energy to participate in and support staff through change.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and evidence of fairness and consistency in application of policies and contractual requirements.
- Ability to calmly manage a variety of intense activities or problems simultaneously.
- History of dependability in maintaining a work schedule and demonstration of work ethic required to motivate others.

Requirement description :
- Minimum of 3 years of successful leadership experience required
- Experience in successful conflict resolution required
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the daily operations of an acute care Medical Center including experience handling emergency/trauma and critical care situations.
- Working knowledge of staffing systems preferred.
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Documented evidence of continuing education and continued professional growth and progress in health care and nursing.
- Must be an RN
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
- Perm address must be included in profile
- ANY/ALL RTO must be included in profile
Profile Requirements:
- Work History
- Skills Checklist (pertinent to position) current to 1 year
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
