Job Description
We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Construction Project Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for the overall tasks to initiate plan execute monitor control and close-out projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (BA) in Construction Management Architecture Engineering or any construction related field is preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites industry standard construction management software such as Computer Aided Drafting software (CAD estimating scheduling etc.
5 years of construction management experience preferred. Knowledge Skills and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers architects and other design professionals.
Determine and define project scope and objectives.
Determine needed resources (manpower equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations and schedule constraints.
Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
Track project costs in order to meet budget.
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy adjustments and progress.
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
Utilize industry best practices techniques and standards throughout entire project execution.
Monitor the progress of each project and make decisions regarding progress as needed. Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
