Job Description

Position Overview:

CBH is a dynamic organization dedicated to providing access to high-quality accountable care to improve the health and mental wellness of our members.The mission of CBH Communications is to provide innovative support for our employees members and provider networks. The exciting growth of this department has continued to create opportunities for candidates in the field including an opening for a Multimedia Graphic Designer to join CBH.

Were excited to offer a new opportunity for a Multimedia Graphic Designer to join our growing Communications team. This role is ideal for a creative professional who excels in visual storytelling across digital and print media and is passionate about making an impact through design.. Essential Functions:

  • Works with the Communications Department and subject matter experts to design and publish website content and design in a WordPress environment.
  • Conceptualize design layout and produce compelling on-brand on-strategy creative content for communications projects including print pieces signage emails social media posts blogs newsletters infographics research reports and other publications.
  • Design high-impact graphics for social media platforms (Instagram Facebook LinkedIn etc.) and CBH website aligned with standards and digital strategy.
  • Ensure that designs effectively adhere to established brand standards and accessibility guidelines
  • Stay current with design trends and emerging platforms to ensure content remains relevant and forward-thinking.

Position Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Web Design Graphic Design Multimedia Design Art or related.

Work Experience:

  • At least 3 years experience in graphic and web design with marketing advertising or communications focus.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects at once all the while being able to prioritize jobs based on required deadlines is critical.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign etc.).
  • Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with accessibility principles and responsive web design best practices.
  • Strong understanding of color theory typography layout design and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience preparing files for digital and print production.

  • The successful candidate must be a current Philadelphia resident or become a resident within six months of hire.
