Job Description
At Comprehensive Logistics Co. Inc. (CLI) individuals are valued for their dedication to perfecting processes and teamwork performance. As one of the fastest growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America were looking for an experienced Logistics Team Lead - Day shift.
Job Purpose:
Must possess good knowledge of various assembly line stations to provide shipping and receiving processes and material movements. This candidate would need to have a problem-solving attitude to maintain the highest level of safely loading unloading SAP bookings and ASN requirements. Skills to process cycle counts oversee logistics team nad warehouse movements adequately and safely.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate accuracy in the material movement of components and without quality failures
- Flexibility to ship/ receive and support all assembly lines various components and warehouse movements.
- Follow quality safety 5S and attendance guidelines to meet and exceed all productivity goals.
- Communicate problems or adjustments to client and assembly supervisor.
- Use all forklifts require in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform visual verification of forklift totes/containers and to ensure compliance to set standards.
- Accurately book in the SAP system and perform the ASN send requirements to the customer.
- Meet all delivery unloads and reloads. Meeting FIFO delivery put away standards.
- Cross-train in all areas.
- Tag and isolate defective material/ totes/ racks if found.
- Required to perform and hold team accountable for cycle counts forklift checklists and charging routines.
- Responsible for issues warnings to employees for attendance safety and performance.
Skills/ Qualifications/ Education:
- 2 plus years of production forklift experience. Team Lead experience for min 5years preferably in automotive.
- Ability to coordinate prioritize and multitask and take initiative and recognize needs and hold team accountable.
- Demonstrate flexibility with a fast-paced challenging environment.
- Adaptability and flexibility must have strong work ethic.
- Conceptual/ Analytical and Organizational skills along with Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent hand eye coordination
- Must be mechanically inclined to perform the start and end of shift forklift inspections.
- Excellent written verbal communication MS outlook and Excel Computer skills a plus.
- Must have flexible weekend schedule must be able to work all OT and weekends requested.
- Excellent problem resolution skills
- Must be 18 years of age or older and must have reliable transportation.
- Forklift certification is a must.
- Be able to pass pre -employment drug screening random drug screens and criminal background check
- HSD or GED preferred.
