Who are we looking for
Were seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (or at the Technical Director / Principal Engineer level) to join our Water Group based in Brisbane Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast. Youll play a pivotal role in the technical delivery of water and wastewater system solutions collaborating with passionate and high-performing teams.
Working with a flexible welcoming and high-performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you:
- Lead and contribute to the civil design of water and wastewater infrastructure including pipelines pump stations reservoirs and treatment plant civil works.
- Prepare and review technical documentation across concept preliminary and detailed design phases.
- Provide input across the full project lifecyclefrom planning and feasibility to detailed design construction and commissioning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Apply relevant design standards and use tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D 12d and WSAA guidelines.
What you will bring to the team:
- A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- RPEQ status or ability to obtain.
- 8 years experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design ideally within a consultancy environment.
- Demonstrated experience delivering hydraulic and transient designs for treatment plants (water and wastewater) and linear infrastructure.
- Strong technical and communication skills with a collaborative mindset and client-focused approach.
