Job Description
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: San Jose CA
Salary: $48.00 to $54.00 per hour
Shift: Full-time Monday to Friday PM shifts and part-time weekend/evening coverage available
Weekend Requirements: Weekend coverage required for part-time roles
On-Call: Yes details discussed at interview
Job Overview:
Provide mobile X-ray and EKG (if applicable) services to nursing homes healthcare facilities and other locations. Ensure high-quality imaging and professional patient care while maintaining equipment and adhering to protocols. Possible relocation assistance and state licensure reimbursement are available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit to a Radiologist for interpretation
- Unload and transport equipment into facilities obtaining clinically diagnostic technically competent images
- Perform EKGs when required and transmit to a Cardiologist for interpretation
- Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily
- Maintain regular communication with dispatch management and clients
- Provide professional interaction with patients peers and supervisory staff
- Maintain company vehicle and radiology equipment
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant state licensure (reimbursement available after 90 days of employment)
- Ability to operate portable DR or CR radiography equipment
- EKG performance skills (if required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
