Job Description
Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Mitcham Croydon
Shift Pattern: 12 hours Days & Nights
Salary: up to 51000
Synergi is looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work for a leading food manufacturer in Croydon with strong mechanical and electrical skills. You will be resilient and adaptable due to the nature of the fast-paced environment you will be working within. Using your own initiative will be key a lot of the time.
Your primary goal will be to ensure that processes and systems operate efficiently safely and reliably.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Diagnose repair and maintain electrical systems including motors PLCs control panels sensors and circuits.
- Support mechanical maintenance tasks including pumps conveyors valves pneumatic/hydraulic systems bearings and gearboxes.
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Install modify and upgrade electrical systems and components as per specifications.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant regulations (e.g. IEE wiring regulations).
Ideal background:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Additional certification like 18th edition.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment (FMCG).
- Able to demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Overtime and call out rates will be applicable
