This role will play a crucial part of the UNITE team. UNITE is our business-led tech-enabled transformation and a key priority for the Group. Whats the role
- Project Leadership: Responsible for overseeing and coordinating a group of related UNITE initiatives. Utilises Agile delivery practices to ensure successful outcomes across all phases of the project.
- Stakeholder Management: Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders including senior management product teams and operations teams. Ensures alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Proactively identifies assesses and mitigates risks associated with project delivery. Develops and implements contingency plans to address potential issues.
- Financial Management: Conducts cost and benefit estimations for large and/or complex projects or programs. Demonstrates the ability to identify actionable insights optimise costs and coach others in financial management practices.
- Team Leadership: Fosters effective collaboration within the team. Mentors and develops team members to continuously improve performance and delivery capabilities.
- Governance: Adheres to group governance processes to ensure stakeholders understand their roles in delivery. Establishes decision-making and escalation processes to support achievement of desired outcomes.
What do I need
- 8 years experience leading and delivery project teams ideally in large complex organisations with proven oversight of budgets ranging from $10 million plus.
- Extensive experience in the financial services industry- specifically debit card systems including integration compliance and operational workflows.
- Proven experience managing data migration projects including planning execution and post-migration validation.
- 3 years experience practicing Agile delivery and utilising tools such as JIRA Confluence and MS Teams.
- Program / Project Management certification (e.g. PMI-PgMP PMI-PMP PRINCE2).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification.
